I know it sounds looser to talk about that in a forum.
But it happens.

Story:

3 weeks ago, my best friend calls me at like 8am to tell me:
"HEY PROCULE !!! AC/DC IS COMING TO MONTREAL !!! My brothers and I
want some tickets but we know that they will be sold out very fast.
We are getting together to get four (4) tickets on the floor. Can
you help us?"

I said: Why not.

The tickets were selling at 12:00 so I made some coffee.

So here we go: At noon, I log on ticketmaster. Wait. Wait. Reload. Wait.
Reload. Wait. etc .etc

Finally I got 1 ticket on the floor ! YEAH ! I call my buddy. But his
brother already bought 4 tickets but in the 400's (the highers).

So I said "Sorry I will just sell it on ebay".... (btw, he gave me his credit card number)

I was chatting with a friend of mine who also bought 4 tickets in the 400s' and I said to her: haha ! I have a ticket on the floor !!! (it was like 1 hour after the selling). She said "No way ! How did you get it ? I will try !!" well... she tried and tried....

Actually, one hour after, she found some tickets. She found 4 tickets on the floor. Quickly, I try. I got 4 too !!! So I call my buddy and tell him that. "Do you want them ? Sure I want them !" he says.

The problems begin.

"But Hey buddy... I have a lonely ticket here next the stage... maybe I can buy another one in the same section and sell them on ebay". "Why not!" He says.

So I do my game again. Send. retry. send. retry. etc. Yeah I got another one ! Just next !

I buy it with is credit card number <-------- here

Damn.... I just bought a ticket in the B2 section and my other ticket is in the B6 section.... But my friend knows we are going to sell them to ebay for 2x or 3x the price so...... So, I will try to match the pairs.

I retry and retry.. After 20 min. I get 1 ticket for B2 and another for B6.

Nice. I have 2 pairs + the 4 tickets for my buddy on his credit card. Wahoo !



That night, it was his gf's birthday. So we had a party and we talked about the tickets and how much we will make money while reselling them on ebay.

The fun finishes here....



Yesterday, he received his credit card bill. 8 tickets @ 115$CND.

The problem... he always thought that I only bought ONE ticket for a pair to fill the lonely ticket. So for him, it's 2 tickets more. Not 4 more. About 250$CND.

I don't know how to say in english but he was more than mad.

That is my best friend and now he doesn't want to see/talk/speak/whatever to me because he thinks I tried to "whatever the expression is in english" him.

For 2 days i'm trying to explain to him it was a misunderstanding and that anyway the tickets will sell.... He just thinks i'm... le plus crosseur des juifs....

I'd love to go see AC/DC, but I decided to take my dad to the Abbotsford Airshow instead. I can only afford one trip to Vancouver.

Hopefully you'll work things out with your friend. Maybe he'll soon realise that you weren't trying to screw him over.

I don't know what to say about your friend, but if it's any consolation you should have no trouble at all selling your extra tickets.

Sell them and pay your buddy back the ticket perice, you keep the profits since he's being an a$$.
I tried to get some for the Edmonton show, no luck, then I find out ZZ Top and Aerosmith are coming to Calgary so I ask the wife if she wants to go.
"Hell yah!" is her reply so I log in to buy them, I'm just about to buy 4 tix and she looks over my shoulder, What the hell are you spending $500 on? I tell her and she axed the whole thing $199 per ticket is more than she wants me to spend.
Oh well.
