Story One:
Me and some friends were at a party at Lee's house a few years back, and there were these two guys who were smashed out of their minds fooling around with this chick. Whene ver they got too close, she's push them away gently. They were really drunk and after a while started to harass her. These guys were big, and I was scared, but approached them anyway. I told them that they had too much to drink and should leave this girl alone if she wanted to be.
Since they were drunk, they immediately start telling me to fuck off, mind my own business, you don't know her, etc. I told them that I really think that they should leave her alone, since they're drunk and she's clearly uncomfortable. One of them gets up and tells me that if I don't leave, someone(me) is gonna get hurt.
It was at this point that my pal Tom P stepped in. He's a pretty tall, muscular Irish man, who is very violent and can hold his own in a fight. He asked them: "Is there a problem here?" To which they replied: "It isn't your fucking business!"
Tom told that if they didn't leave now, they'd be thrown out. By this point a small crowd had formed, and two guys who I didn't know came up behind Tom, clearly backing him up. These drunk guys started yelling and started pushing Tom(which si the last thing you want to do), and within two minutes, Tom, myself, and about 4 other people finally got the people out of Lee's house.
So don't worry Bodah, there are still some people who will stand up and do something.
Story Two:
Earlier this year, some beef was brewing between my friend Alex and some of the poser-ass gangsters at my school. They were looking through his bag, so naturally he got pissed and told them not to touch his shit. So what do they say?
"What the fuck did you just say man?"
A few words are exchanged between them, and next thing I know, Alex has been pushed backwards into Zoey, who is tiny and has been flung down on our hard concrete steps. Instantly, my friend Max and I are on our feet standing between this one violent gangster and Alex and Zoey. We're holding him back while he's getting very angry and pushy. We're telling him to calm down, saying that there's no beef, and it's just words. It started to escalate until one of the teachers came through the doors, and everything stopped.
It was rather scary, because it was about to boil into a full-scale fight between the Eccentrics of Door Nine and the "Gangsters" of Door Nine. There were about 40 people in the area, and Max and I knew that we couldn't fight off 30 gangsters and protect Alex and Zoey at the same time.
It was ridiculous how it was only Max, myself and two good gangsters that I know who were trying to stop shit from going down.
