Where do our ideaa, ideals, and moral values come from? each day of our lives mold and change us. Yet there apperars to be a wide gap between when our fundmental beliefs are put to the test.
My genertaion grew up with talk of the Great Depression. Flags in windows showing how many servicemen were in the family, Lying at the foot of a floor model Zenith Stratosphere listening to shortwave broadcast by Endward R. Murrow.
He stood on hotel rooftops telling us about the German bombings of London.
Family, honour and hard work were drummed into us at home and at school. Buying only what was needed and not just wanted. Chickens and rabbits were raised in backyards along with gardens, for family food. The family car sat on blocks in the garage, without tires.
Generation gap or chasm? Which values are the correct ones?
