Eeeeeasy there Arctic menace.

So I took a drive to the BC border with the sole intention of fucking around with the AMA cam that I just found out was there thanks to Alberta redneck, maybe leave a message painted in the ditch or put up a sign so it would show up when it takes a pic......anyhooo,a huge freaking sheep wandered on to the highway and I started filming,or at least I thought I was.
When I figured out my cam wasnt doing video I fixed it and resumed takeing pics,I missed the trucker beeping at it untill it ran in front of his rig, thought it was going to be a bloodbath, allthough you wouldnt want to hit one of these animals especially with global warming allowing them to stay on the lower slopes and beef up.
I was going to put my cam on the dash and get out but mark my words he would have charged me,I could see it in his eyes. I'll post the video I got of this sheep as soon as it loads on youtube.

Notice how big his body is?Only a half curl and he's allready on his way to an entry into the Boone and Crocket books.

You dont want to hit one of these with a vehicle.

Enjoy

File comment: This is the classic "pose for the BC tourist" stance they adopt whenever a whiteplate drives by.Note the steam coming out the nostrils.

Your plates are white now too.

Nice pics.

Must have mis-took me for a BC'er with the white plate and all.
Man,we used to ship our sheep 2 thousand miles away to Hinton and they allways came back,

2nd biggest in BC was tagged by us and monitored untill it died, then a couple of guys used the tracking shit to find the horns and dont know if it ever got into the books but it was a record for sure,my memory's bad but I think it was referred to as #46 or 42 or something.

One of the ones we had collared had it slip over one horn,so the collar was allways over his nose and one eye,he developed quite a scab because of it but went on for 5 years before he dissapeared.

These guys used to piss me off when mountain climbing in Alberta. You'd be struggling along a few feet at a time and these twits would go bouncing by like they were playing tag or something.

Seeing how you're all posting cool nature pics, I have a few I took out side Banff while on the old hwy #1.

I love to go for drives, but always take the back roads, away from the BC tourists.
