Hi folks I’m back. Atypical of our liberal minded court system I was sprung from the joint after serving a little better than half my sentence and have been released into the general population..
First I want to say thanks to those who lent their moral support in questioning my sentence. I know no more then anyone else as to why I was locked other then the mods received “several” PM’s demanding I be stifled.
I also want to express my gratitude to those on both the left and right of the political spectrum who lobbied for my release, offered bail etc. You know who you are.
I also want to thank those who thought the thread by DerbyX attacking me should be closed until I was able to defend myself.

The two main reasons DerbyX has chosen to recommend me for the anti-Canuck medal is that I have a “separatist” avatar and that I have indicated that I would renounce my citizenship. I will address the latter first.
On several occasions I have been tested hypothetically to the extent of my patriotism. This usually involves the NEP or some such other thing that destroys the province of Alberta for the greater good of Canada. I do not deny that given the choice of an independent Alberta or one that is sacrificed at the alter of partisan politics I would choose separation. I believe all provinces should be allowed to participate in Confederation fully in the way it was created and not how it has evolved. However, since joining I have repeatedly called for reConfederation believing that this is the only way to build an actual nation of Canada.
The NEP was the only known deliberate attack on a province by the government of Canada with the sole intention of harming it. I will not go through that again as a Canadian citizen. Nor will I advocate an attack on any other province in the Confederation. This is not about Alberta but about what is right. There are only two Confederations in the world (that I can think of off hand) Canada and Switzerland. I am very proud of the way our country was created and I wish to see the founding sentiments preserved rather then perversed.
But Canadian patriotism with bounds is not entirely without precedence. Strictly as an example, the other day:

Here the site Administrator and a holder of the uber-Canuck medal ostensibly expresses his disappointment that the state of Canada will not be absorbed by a singular world government. This is no attack on Canadaka, every person has a limit to their patriotism, but that does not make them a bad Canadian.

Interesting the DerbyX would go to the effort to research my avatar and tell everybody that it is “separatist” What he failed to tell you (while he was kicking me when I was down) is that the flag is linked to a FORMER separatist party that DOES NOT advocate separation, believes Canada is at war and wants people to push aside their politics to rally behind the PM and the Maple Leaf to win the war on Islamofascism. Oh well, aleast now it’s a good argument for my other thread in the uber Canuck category.
I understand part truth and innuendo is the only way a liberal knows how to disseminate information, I live in Canada, I’ve watched CBC, enough said.
Republic Of Alberta
A little side note on the flag, it is somewhat Metis in origin (we all know my opinions there) and most real Alberta separatists have never seen it. As a partially Metis flag, the same flag with different colours represents all the Western provinces.
There is a flag of separation in Alberta folks coming soon to a motorhome or camper near you, but I won't spread it around too much since there is no point making it identifiable.
Anyway DerbyX, if you are going to have sex with your calculus teacher again wear this and if he's like you...you'll drive the guy crazy!
Here are a few other reasons why I shouldn’t be given an anti Canuck medal.
I was the youngest ever member of the Canadian Club (Hamilton Chapter (do they still call it Connaught?))
Orchestrated and led a protest/petition in the mid 80s against Famous Players when they dropped the national anthem before movies.
Spent 14 years active service serving overseas on multiple missions. Still play as a reservist. Never as a job but always out of duty for God and country.
Was jailed in Victoria for protesting the courts disallowing the left from protesting logging in Clayoquot Sound.
Am financing the real Alberta Sustainable House on a parcel of land ½ north of Edmonton. A 6000 sq ft Victorian house constructed of recycled materials featuring an elevator (wheel chair lift), indoor swimming pool, bowling lane and completely off grid with zero emissions.
Participated at the Convention that created the Reform party as a way to bring the “West In” to Confederation.
Am involved in a project to bring the technology of aquaponics to Canada in order to address both the quality of our food and the unsustainability of using 10000 calories of energy to produce 1 cal of food.
Have been to every province and territory in Canada multiple times, am married to a Quebecor, own a cottage there, all my children speak French as I insisted they learn. (And not just because we’ll need interpreters when the revolution comes.)
Am actively involved with assisting both the homeless and former prostitutes in the Edmonton area.
Am registered to attend the Calgary Conference in hopes of further reconciling the growing rife between West and east.
