When a woman won't go out with a guycuz 'he's not tall enough' or 'buff' or balding or too old or not old enough or too immature or doesn't earn enough money or insn't 'motivated' or isn't 'sexy' etc. that's OK? Even tho most of these a guy can't do anything to change.
But because I said that I wasn't 'interested' in going out with a particular lady, and when pressed stated that ';she's too damn fat', (60lb at least) I get 'crucified' and called shallow! WTF is up with that?
When I see a 'fat person' I think 'lazy', 'no motivation', 'lack of self control',no self-respect, definitely not sexy!
Picture this person that I was asked to 'date'.
5' 3" 180 lb. chopped bleached hair, her make-up looked like it was applied with a 'sash roller' reeking of cheape perfume, or maybe she just used a can of 'Glade airfreshner instead. It was hard to tell the difference! Tall black leather boots. The kind with pointy toes and spikey heels. ( I'm amazed at the balancing act she was able to do on those things, and even more amazed that they didn't break! What the hell are they made of?) and finish of the ensemble with a floral 'pup-tent!
Tall, short, slender, balding, eye color, skin color, ethnicity etc. are all things we have no control over, but Being 'fat' & dressing like a clown IS A CHOICE!

I have to confess that I don't know who 'Mimi Bobeck' is.
But since YOU are 'officially single' Zig, maybe I should send her down your way!

Double standards go both ways
We fight it from both sides..
If we're overweight we're "fat slobs who don't look after ourselves" Too thin - tramps, attention whores or anorexics.
If we wear to much make up, we're clowns; if we don't wear any, we take no pride in our appearance
It's all a matter of individual perception, taste, and preferences.
Don't sweat it.

i have an issue with this statement based on personal experience.
I'm not a skinny girl. never was and i never will be but because i dont fit into comformity right now (due to medical reasons and other stuff that i dont care to get into on a forum) under NO circumstance do i fit your 'lazy', 'no motivation', 'lack of self control',no self-respect' descrioption.
I go to the gym 5-6 times a week i eat healthy and i work friggin hard and while i know it may not be the same for every situation just know that blanket statements like that will get you no where.
when did it become of to be so rude to people just because you can?

No where, no how, was I 'rude' to anyone for any reason! If you took offense to my statements then for that I apologize.
Certainly there are exceptions to ' MY' observation that 'fat people are lazy people'. Medical conditions being at the forefront. And it cannot be argued that too often this is used as an excuse. Not to insinuate that such is the case with you Newf.
Many do claim a 'medical condition' when in fact it is really a case of 'oral giganticus'!
We have all heard the term 'she's just big boned'. But I have yet to see a 'fat skeleton'! Really, it's a simple equation of 'calories in vs. calories out'. Some have to work harder at it than others. Some don't work at it at all!

I remember a 75 year old truck driver telling me doing the secretary at the office(who was a bone rack)would be like sticking his dick in a bag full of antlers.

Exactly - and other guys think it's sexy.
Personal perception/preference.
We all have them, and I don't think we should be shunned for them.

i agree with you there are people in the town where i live that have to ride in a wheel chair because they are too fat to walk.. and when i see them at the grocery store they have a cart full of ships and pop.
but its just important to me for you to know that some people work very hard to not be that way and its just not easy...
