Since they've become the symbol for the olympics they are everywhere in the city. It's olympic fever time here. I don't see it as defacing property though.

With it being Canada hosting the games, with Vancouver just as the host city there had to be a symbol that would represent the country, not too many orcas in Saskatchewan! I remember the orca being suggested at some point but rejected because it not represent the country. I actually thought of the orca too as being a good one.
