What is it with city folk and piling rocks? Every outcropping 0n the 400 from Waubashene to Sudbury has somebodys' idea of an inukshuk. If you want to move stones, I've got some property in Muskoka just waiting for you!

Thought you were from Calgary? :?

Inukshuks bother the hell out of me...like WTF does one have to do with 2010 Olympics, yes I know the meaning of Inukshuks, but this is the Westcoast and Coast Salish land. The last time I checked Inukshuks were Inuit. Just like how they hold 'Powwows' on the Westcoast...bloody joke, bunch of new agers latching on to something to find meaning in their starved vegan life. End rant...not in a great mood

Is that because I couldn't make it for your massage session last night?

Sorry about that.

I left Montreal early in the morning and drove like hell.
I would have made it on time but got stuck in a friggin' snow storm going over the Rockies.
Next time, I'm bringin' the sled and the dogs.

Ok it may be a bad time to say I love inuksuit. 8O I like the stories and heritage behind them. I don't see anything wrong with wanting to celebrate a meaningful part of Canadian heritage. I heard many Inuit stories from my grandfather as a little girl, I think their culture is fascinating. Every year I build an inukshuk in my garden. The one I build each year holds a special meaning for me, every rock I place I think of as positive energy washing away the past sorrows or failings that have accumulated in my soul from the summer before. So if my inukshuk pisses you off, I can handle that, just don't look in my yard

I'd have loved the Olympic symbol to have been a kilted Highland soldier in a redcoat... but then that doesn't represent "culture" or "diversity..." :D hahaha guess I'll have to wait for the Halifax olympics for that one...
