Not only is this editorial cartoon mere centimetres from a poppy, this screen shot was taken today, 12 November. Guess they don't remember enough to actually take down the poppy.

Cartoonists are by nature a strange breed who seem to think that anything they draw, be it political or social by nature is always satirical and funny. This assclown is living proof that isn't always the case.

As for the Toronto star, it's staffed by a bunch of idiots, who despite a very liberal and likely free education, still can't read a calender.
