I love Mike Rowe, he's a great host and makes whatever he is doing on that episode seem interesting and tells it like it is. Dirty Jobs is one of the best shows on Discovery Channel for sure.

Agreed. He's one of those not polished gems that speaks common sense.
I should point out that this in't really political left/right unless you believe that everyone has to go to a university to become educated or a success. We see too many graduates who can't fix a tire who are working in service industry jobs while Joe tradesman is cursed and criticised because he's in such high demand.
