Derby, no matter what I say in matters of faith you'll find fault. It's who you are.
So just accept that I've had no problems with any of the actions I've taken in the past. I sleep at night just fine and I'm good with the guy I see in the mirror every morning.
At the same time, I've noted on this site in the past that there's people I never acted against (even though I was authorized to) because I decided on my own that they were not a valid target.
Translation: Even though I was acting in a war I still drew a distinction between killing a soldier in combat and murdering someone. If, as you're libeling me here, I was 'murdering' then I'd have drawn no such distinction.
Can the hysterics. Just because you draw the line there doesn't mean that is the religious line. Plenty of people thinking killing is wrong regardless because of their religious beliefs. I brought up the point about killing/murder and the commandments because you tried claiming that she wasn't really much of an observant muslim since she was working in an atmosphere
you claim, not her went against those beliefs.
I mearly pointed out that just as you interpret your religion to best benefit your personal beliefs (ie its OK to kill a soldier when your religion supposedly states all killing is wrong) she might be doing the same.
When you get right down to it she was not being a PITA as you put it nor was she somehow working in conditions that invalidated her beliefs and therefore lost any religious argument she had. You just think that because to you all mulslims are wrong no matter what they do.
In fact she handled this admirably. She wasn't demanding any unreasonable accommodation. She didn't demand to be hired even though her beliefs couldn't be accommodated. She applied to work an honest job and
inquired prior to being hired if she could wear her veil based on her beliefs it is part of her religion. She was told yes and she even followed the colour code requirement. She was apparently doing a good job and wasn't demanding any other special accommodation like other women working with her must also wear the hijab or that male employees may not speak with her. She was doing exactly what people keep demanding, ie to have them fit into our society. That was exactly what she was doing and she was wrongfully dismissed. In suing her employees she is further demonstrating that she is fitting into western society. She has a legitimate grievance and case and is resorting to the same legal means at her disposal as the rest of us have.
Far from being a PITA she is doing exactly what you keep demanding muslims do in western society.
