The worthless fat prick who has lived next door to me for the last couple years is moving.

This is the guy who put the air intake for his furnace beside my driveway (against code) and now bitches and whines everytime we start a car.

This is the man who tried to solve his weeping tile problem by draining his yard into mine. He still gets water in his basement, but now I have huge puddles in my driveway.

This is the man who tried to keep the NDP from putting a sign up on my lawn, then called my wife a "communist c*nt" when she intervened. He apologized for that one...actually he begged me not beat him. I still regret not crushing his ribs, but my wife doesn't like me crippling the neighbours...she's much more forgiving than I am.

This is the man who kept parking his truck across my driveway, then got really mad when I finally got fed up and had it towed one day. He parked it there again the next day, so I called the cops and told them I thought it was stolen.

This is the man who calls the pound if my dogs bark, but sees no problem having huge parties and setting off fireworks every weekend in the summer.

This is the man who mows his lawn at 11:00 pm because his riding mower has lights on it.

He's going someplace else and I feel bad for whoever gets stuck with him, but at the same time I'm elated to see him go.

I don't know the new neighbours, but I know they have a cat and a dog and an old chevy 4x4...they live a couple blocks over right now. No matter what they'll be a marked improvement over this idiot.

Well done.

The NDP sign thing is really funny. I live in Bill Blaikie's riding and most of my neighbourhood is made up of CN workers...a lot of orange signs around here.

There was supposed to be a sign go up when we were on vacation in Saskatchewan, but there wasn't. When I phoned and asked why I didn't have a sign they said that it had been cancelled. I figured there was just some kind of screw-up. Then this happened and suddenly it all made sense.

I should have, but Mrs. Rev didn't want me to.

Now if we could just get the prick across the street to move, this neighbourhood could get back to being normal...

I remember my old neighbour. He used to complain about our dogs barking. They'd only bark for a reason however. Finally we got in an argument with him and we agreed to keep our dogs locked in the house at night. 3 nights after that point someone broke into his garage and stole some tools. I bet he wished our dogs were outside then. Also, one day when my mom was home sick from work, she looks out the window to see something flying over the fence. She goes into the back yard to see the neighbour throwing dog sh*t over our fence from the back alley. My parents snapped at him because in the 9 years we have been in our house, our dogs haven't even stepped foot in the alley. Now he moved so we are doing better. But we are going to be moving, to 10 acres, no problems with neighbours there.

Did anyone ever see that Redneck Neighbour site that was on the web for a while?

Basically someone had a neighbour like yours, Rev, but he took pictures of all the stupid things this guy did and tried to build, and then basically blogged everything to top it off. It was freaking hilarious, it was really well written.

It still shows up in Google searches, but the page 404's. Probably because his little personal website starting taking a million hits a day..or maybe he got sued :)

I'm not intolerant though...the last guy that lived there had a collection of used, partially dismantled Ladas, and I still let him smoke my smokes and drink my beer. My neighbour on the other side has some nasty habits involving muscle cars and "temporary" structures.

That's all fine, about what you'd expect around here and a big part of why we bought this place.

How about if YOU moved?? then you would solve ALL your lousy neighbour problems at once??? I really have to comment on this, seeing how every one else is a prick but you are an angel....(in your opinion) LMAO

I noticed that too and find it rather hard to believe.

Oddly enough I never had any problems with the 3 previous owners of that house...one who we booted out of this house when we bought it because they were renting. I don't have problems with the people on the other side either. Or anybody else in the neighbourhood. These people though...the ones that just moved and the guy across the street...have problems with practically everybody around here.

Like I said, not all the neighbours are easy to get along with, but we're generally pretty tolerant of others around here.

Nice to see that there's a site for the stalkers and trolls to go to though, Chemo Saby.
