Wow... that was something.

I was asleep this evening (7pm). Just relaxing.
I wake up because I hear "foot noises". I get up and I find a big black man in my apartment. I recognize him: he's a neighbour. In my apartment's building, there a balcony but connected to 4 apartments. A shared balcony.

Some times I leave the bay window open a little so my cat can go there and watch things (cats...). Well, he went thru there. Since there was no noise, he was thinking I was not there but I was asleep.

Wow, you should have seen his face. I say "wtf are you doing there ?" he tells "oh Normand (our janitor who lives in the building) is calling me because he wants to talk to you." wtf ? If Normand wants to talk to me, he will come himself like he always does. And that guy has already stolen me something: Some times, when Normand and the mailman meet, he gives me my mail. It was maybe in February. And Normand took a parcel and went here but I was not there. It was something I bought on ebay for a friend. It was almost 2 weeks since the seller told me that he sent the parcel so I went to Normand's apartment to ask him if he knows anything. He tells me that yes he took the parcel but somebody broke in and stole it. I ask him if he knows who had done that and he tells me that he thinks it's that guy. I went knocking on the guy's door. No response. So I went again to Normand and ask him to open the door. He does. The parcel was some DVDs. Well, the DVDs were on his TV and there was even one in the DVD player. So I took them. We made no call for that since we opened the door without the guy there so...

So, it was the same guy in my apartment. I immediately call the police. I was afraid since it's a BIG black man. Well the police comes, 4 of them. I tell the story. They knock (it's on the same floor so I was watching). They totally arrest him. By totally I mean he tried to move away from the police so they took him down on the floor. Now he's in jail.

I'm so happy because I knew he stole my friend's DVDs but I could not do anything since I went in while he was away. But now, I can do something. And btw, my friend is a police lol. So I called her to tell her what happened. She was very happy too !

Wow. That's something... I meet the police and write the report. Now it's over, I went to the covenience store and bought some beers to calm me down [B-o]

Oh I forgot.

While I was talking to the police, the (stupid) guy went again from the balcony. I guess he spotted something and he thought I was going to see Normand so I should not be there. 911 all heard that. He again told me "Oh that's because Normand is still calling me !". Stupid....

A friend of ours came out of the shower last week to find an old man sitting at her kitchen table with a cup of her coffee.
When she asked WTF he was doing there, he said he found her dog wandering and brought it home, walked in and helped himself.
He's harmless, but he's walked into her house each morning for the last 6 days and she shooed him and today she called the cops. They told her to lock her door.
They can't so anything as he's mentally unstable and there's no point doing anything.

Lovely how we've abandoned all our social responsibilities and dumped everything on the public's ass. Sort of like when they cut senior services and the local volunteers now hold a fundraiser lunch here 5 days a week. So many people support it that two cafe's closed down for lack of lunch customers. Heard one of the volunteers bitching about how there's nowehre to go for dinner in this town.

I understand you herbie. There are people that have problems.
But, in my situation, the guy is like under 30 (i guess). He seems stable. But, since he came back... i'm not so sure since it was a very stupid thing to do. I guess he thought I would have gone to my janitor's apartment so he could take quickly my laptop on the living rooms's table. But wow. It's sure I would have known it's him ! There's stupid and stupid.

I got subpoena'd for court over a break-in at my store. The guy smashed a window, cut his head on the cam that was pointed at him and stole $1800 worth of small shit. He was so goddam stupid he stole like thirty 1 and 2 Gig USB drives and left the 16 Gig ones there. Took four $28 webcams and left the two bigger wireless cams there. Didn't scoop any of the laptops or LCDs or boxed systems. All little shit.
He also didn't notice the lady across the street call the cops on her cell phone.
Adult. Too stupid to let pollute the human gene pool.
I WILL BE THERE in court. I will make sure they know I got the goods back but SOMEBODY should pay the $2000 in damages, and pay it to ME. This is the 2nd B&E the same guy did the same thing 2 years ago.

I hear you herbie. These stealers sometimes are STUPID. VERY stupid.
But it's a think that to have a stealer in your store (did he have an arm ?) and waking up with a big black guy in your living room  there's a difference !

Now it's tomorrow and I have my mind "set". I just recalled that the black man was in the convenience store while I was retrieving 300$ from the ATM machine. I guess that's why! Yesterday I was too stressed to think about that but today I'm more calm and I just "woke up" about that.

Damn stealers.....
