Mukluk may have apoint. Most animals will calm right down when it gets dark and they can't see. May not work too well with a nocturnal animal like a skunk though. If you have a pellet gun (now don't get mad, hear me out) try and see if there is anywhere you can get tranquilizer darts. If you could get them, you got get the stinky fellow and transport him without fear of sparying. I don't think they'll just sell 'tranks' to anyone.
