First off, the place was run by mobsters. Many if not most of the girls employed there were addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, many of them are hookers on the side, and the hookers (of course) have pimps that mistreat them. If you have any compassion left for this chick at all, you'll do what you have to do to convince her to quit and get a proper job.
Hmmmmm I think if it's about compassion then you have to look at the end user. Perhaps people should stay out of peeler joints, not avail themselves of hookers. Kind of a which came first the chicken or the egg argument.
