I don't know if it's growing or not. Like I said to Lemmy when we had these discussion in the past my main objection, as a cynic and a skeptic, is that it relies too much on a belief that everyone will act in the best interest of the system, that the goodwill of all will be enough to make up for the absence of a coercive regulatory state. It doesn't account at all for deviant personalities that are motivated solely by self-interest even if their interests cause immense harm to others and damage to the system. To me it's just like communism in that in their pure utopian forms they can't exist in reality because they just aren't able to compensate for the x-factor of dangerous individual personalities.

But is capitalism handling the dangerous individual personalities well? Maybe humanity just sucks.
