I fail to understand why women can't seem to grasp a very simple concept. I work one job with oddball hours and lots of 'away' time. Doesn't leave me with much 'free' time.
Mrs. Yogi only works one regular full time job and one part time job. She gets to come home every day. I think that if she were to either take on more hours or possibly another partime job, that I could then 'cut back on my hours, thus leaving me MORE time to do some of the things I really WANT to do. Like fishing, paintball, watching tv or just lazing around the 'farm'.
Anyways, No matter how I try to explain my point of view and reasons she just can't seem to grasp this simple concept that the more she does, the less I have to do! How can I get her to understand???

I did offered to take her fishing with me sometime! And I'm aware that if she is with me fishing, then that's a good days wages that I'm willing to give up FOR HER SAKE!!

Would it not make more sense that if she worked 3 full time jobs and you stayed home , then on her alternating days off where she is only working 16 hours (2 jobs) you could then take her fishing for those 8 hours ... this is providing she doesn't sleep in any given 24 hour period .

This is the sort of reasoning I used with her. When the kid's were at home, Mrs.Y said she needed to be at home cuz it was a full time job in itself. Fair enough. She usually got to bed by 1 am and didn't have to get up until 4;45 ( to start my truck so it could warm up ) put the coffee on , get the laundry done that she been putting off for some reason and get breakfast started before waking the first child.
I'll grant you, we had a few tough years & tears but I held my peace.
Anyways, once the last kiddee had left the nest Mrs. Y seemed to have a lot of time on her hands and be loose ends. Hell, sometimes when I got home from 'work' at 3- IN THE PM- she'd be sitting and watching Oprah and drinking tea! Obviously there just wasn't enough to do around the house to keep her occupied! Hence. A job! Two would be better but I didn't to appear pushy so I only suggested a part-time job as well. So far so good. She's a good time-manager, evidenced by her promotion to supervisor at timmy's. Now she just tells others what to do so it's not like she should be tired out at the end of her shift. I figger if she set her schedule up properly, she could sleep for 2 hours between each job. Six hours sleep is plenty for anyone!
** Note** I did take her fishing with me once and even baited the hook for her!

We won't even get into the whole icky bait thing.
My girlfriend comes fishing with me. I usually will light a fire by the river and if we catch anything we will have a cook up if not I usually bring something just in case.

One thing you have to understand, the womens home is their nest, they are in charge of it no matter how you try to slice it.
You are part of the nest, but it appears to her you are out of order and not pulling your weight according to her, she doesn't care about your long weird hours you work you could be James fucking Bond saving the world from Dr. No doesn't matter to her if she's always doing the dishes. I understand what your saying, it makes sense to me. But for women this is an emotional thing, do the dishes, clean the washroom, the laundry do something you wouldn't normally do, every other day. She just needs to be reaffirmed that your into her working as part of a team and into the whole family keeping happy house (her) thing, do that and she'll get off your back.
She's just having some doubt about that on your part.

Sorry, you're asking your wife to work three jobs so you can go fishing, and you can't figure out why she doesn't think that's a good idea?
