This is my buds Vega in the restoration phase. It used to have 2 six packs sticking through the hood.
Were doing a tamer version but it still has to do mega burnouts.

Work in progress, something to do while sipping back a cold coron and pounding back a few skin dogs off the bbq.

327 chevy, the diff is welded,it used to do nice burnouts.
It gets 3 more coats of Emerald green and then a few clear coats. This is about the third time we have rebuilt this little hotrod in the last 20 years.

When I was a kid, my Dad's buddy rebuilt a Gremlin and put a small block 327 and dragster slicks.

Damn.

The only car I ever owned and the only ford I ever owned was a 70's Ford Mustang 2 mach one,the engine was built at SAIT,my bro was doing his course there so got the engine after they were done. 302 with boss heads and headers straight into sidepipes, after a bit I experimented with the carter and holley carbs.Carter won out,Holley had a diapghram to open the secondarys so that went into the garbage barrel.
My stang was real pretty, chromed to the nuts and I cleaned it with a q-tip.

Used to take it to Wasa lake in BC every sunday because they had a drag strip there.

In Ontario them things were biodegradable.....nothing to restore.

Got an S10 in the shed, with a vette 350, with a lumpy cam, though.......

Years ago I helped a friend with his Vega project. He sold it before it was done but it was nasty. It was tubbed and roll caged and could take either a big block or small block. Can't remember what year the Vega was but it's front end look like that years Z28 front end. Split front bumper and nose made it look like a mini Z28.
