Yea Yogi... I agree... most advertisements suck.
Some assume that the average consumer must be a complete idiot and need the obvious pointed out to them.
Others try to appeal to that bullshit "status" symbol crap. (you are an unworthy human being unless you drive this, or eat this, or wear this)
Still others are just plain cheesy.
The "Brand Power" ones are ok. At least they are brief and to the point without a whole lot of blah blah.
However, there is one ad for the SPCA with Sarah McLaughlin singing that sad song of hers and showing pics of sad puppies and kitties wanting someone to love them and stop hurting them makes me want to hand my wallet over.

Talk about using emotion to hit you where you live!
