many arguements in favor of abortion are 30 years out of date...

- one does not get shunned for having a child out of wedlock

- one does not get shackled to a home instead of having a career

- educational facilities with daycares are now available

Furthermore, there are many women where having a child at 19 instead of 26 is of no consequence because they aren't going anywhere with their education/career anyways.

That's a horrible argument.

"Oh well who cares if she got pregnant she's just a worthless person"

Shows how much value you have for the lives of other people. Seriously that's horrible.

i agree. that is a horrible way to rephrase what I wrote. I can understand that some people might interpret my post the same way that you did, but i object to the suggestion that it is all that i meant.

Who is being punished, in this context, for having an abortion? Do they deserve this money by some insane twist of the mind? How the hell do you come to that conclusion?

Are you saying that women should not be allowed to spend their own money to have an abortion?
I am adamantly anti-abortion, so yes, I would support that statement.

However, my previous questioning was with regards to what I considered the rather audacious perspective that women were being punished by being denied government subsidies for their abortions.

Are you as comfortable with a woman being pro-Vasectomy for you as they would be of your anti-abortion stance? I mean, it is just someone telling you what you can and cannot do with your body...

No, because I am telling someone they can't violate another's right to life. Your argument doesn't match up at all.

A woman that claims the right to abortion should not be allowed to keep the baby and force the man to pay child support.
