This is a Muslim exorcism performed by a guy named Abu Ruqya who performs on an internet/satellite network called Iqraa TV.

He's going to cast 4 Jinns out of a guy who's been committing the sins of not saying his prayers, and watching things he shouldn't. One of the Jinns is a Christian. One is the grandson of Iblis who is the Muslim Lucifer.

It's 21 minutes, but you only have to watch the first couple to get the idea. I'll give you a spoiler, and tell you Abu appears to win at the end when Jinn-guy falls off the couch, spasms, and pukes what appears to be air into a plastic bucket which was handily waiting.

Why post this? Just to shed light on an obscure religious oddity?

Kind of, but here's a better question. Why do you all of a sudden seem to object to the fact that 6 months ago I found this fascinating?

There was a villain (probably a demon) named Count Iblis on the original Battlestar Galactica. I was disappointed that they didn't revive the character for the 2003 series. I thought that Iblis would have been a great surprise as the illusory Model Six that Baltar kept seeing, and it would have been even more fun if they had made the illusory Baltar that Caprica Six was also seeing into yet another demon. It would have connected the two series by making the angels vs demons storyline from the old BSG part of the new one. At least it would have been better than the silly "150000 years later" crap that Ron Moore decided to end the new series with. And at least the angels/demons would "have a plan", because aside from infiltration, sabotage, and pursuit, the Cylons really didn't have much of a sneaky all-encompassing plan themselves after all.
