I know I'm not the only one who has thought of this, but with all this new technology that has come out/will come out, my friend Jamal and I have actually switched gears from an Iron Man suit, to a form of paralysis cure.
It's pretty much an highly-experimental combination of two technologies; the Robotic Exo-skeleton,

http://youtube.com/watch?v=cDiWFcA0gawPretty much what we're aiming to do, is to create a brain-gate-like device that is linked to a robotic exoskeleton. So when your brain sends signals to your body to move, those signals will be transferred instead to the robotic exoskeleton. In other words, the robo-exoskeleton becomes your new body, that you can control with your thoughts the same way the rest of us control our body and movements.
And in the years to come, we'll probably be at the point where we can make robotic appendages that look like flesh and bone.
