Wow, I read several and some of them seem to be nothing more than an edited Apple PR release.

What really makes me want to puke is Apple's notion that people could buy a 4S to commemorate Steve Jobs. The man's not even cold yet and they're already trying to spin his misfortune into sales. Then again, maybe Jobs would applaud that new revenue stream.

From my personal experience I can understand that but it's not a major factor. Rather, as I am upgrading from a 3 year rogers contract from the 3G, it's more of a suite issue as all my app purchares and music will tranfer and in addition I will also be able to sync without a pc now. That's huge, and the camera will now be better then my own digital camera nixing the need to sink money into a point and shoot. What really is of interest is Siri even if it is beta it still has much better then other voice apps I have seen. The processor will be key as a lot of the number crunching will still be on the phone even if the inquiry are sent to servers. Should be interesting where they take that.

There are some websites saying that the iPhone 5 should be out in the market soon. Perhaps, it would seem to make sense to wait for its release.

Was never really an Apple anything fan simply because of how overpriced their stuff was and is. My Rogers HTC died yesterday so I thought maybe I'd look into a finally getting what the whole world has been talking about an Iphone specially since the Mrs was really impressed by one owned by one of her offices mates ( Its time she also got a new one, old imate from 2007 ! )

So looked around did a few demos, research and comparisons and found out still not really into iphones or find them all that snazzy.

Finally settled for an HTC HD7 Windows 7 Mango. I know not the latest stuff but at 1/3 the price of a i4 and in some cases 1/5th the price of the i4S its still a win in my books.

P.S : Its crazy the price some i4S's are going for here !!! Personally I could never justify spending so much money on a mobile device.

The device itself is solid but it's the 3 grand for Rodgers and a 3 year contract I'm not crazy about. Think I may just cancel my contract and get an Itouch or just go month to month and buy strait from apple.
