I recently d.loaded the new version of firefox because it runs a few neat scripts on my game Ikarium which IE wont.

Now I know aol and microsoft dont play well together but what does a guy have to do to get hotmail working right again?

It loads but takes about 20 minute's when I have one browser or the other running or both.

Will the fight over which one's going to be the default browser take long?

I'm just looking for tips on how to get them both to cooperate.

use outlook and the connection tool. screw the web side.

Windows Live Mail has been working fine for me - use that instead of the website.

I use FF and I've never had a problem with the Hotmail website. But, like hwacker, I use Outlook to check my hotmail.

When I click my Live icon for Hotmail, it loads IE. It takes a while to load because IE7's a bloated piece of shit only good for sites where the tards used ActiveX instead of java.
20 minutes is screwed though. Something's wrong.

I had the same problem initially because I uninstalled IE. Hotmail will only open with IE. Set FF as your default but leave IE installed to check your hotmail.

Worked for me anyway

I have Hotmail open in another Firefox tab right now....
it only opens IE by default from the Windows Live icon.

I even check it from my Linux boxes sometimes. Last week I installed IE4Linux as I need to open a couple html control interfaces that won't work with Firefox OR IE7. IE4,5,6 only...

I never really had a problem with EI but FF lets me run scripts which I need for my game(ikarium).

Think that was the problem,trying to run both browsers at the same time because clicking the msn icon would create the struggle between the two.Didnt matter which one I made the default either.

As shitty as msn is I would lose contact with many friends if it ever was discontinued.Probably for life as many of my bud's are up north where internet is scetchy but msn allways works.

I remember at one time I swore I would never own a computer Think I'm on #4 now,the old pentium166 is still with me but retired.
When I was in camp the laptop was your only link to the outside world.The one phone rarely worked but the sat link was allways good if only at 1mbps sometimes but msn still worked.I converted many non pc users to pc users when they saw I could talk to anyone on skype while they fought to get a call out for a month on the phone.

Our camp went from 44 peeps and 2 laptops to 44 peeps and 40 laptops in a month,
Then you have the yahoo's trying to d.load music and movies which would shut down the router or "rooter" as the frenchman used to call it when it needed to be re-booted.
Re-boot the rooter please.

Get off the pornotube please was allways my response and then I would go pull the plug on the linksys for about 20 minutes.
Re-boot that. Hope I didnt shut down your porn d.load in midstream.

Heh,60 miles from the arctic circle and there's 3 of us in my tent msn'ing each other on our laptops. No words were spoken untill we realized the absurdity of the situation and broke out in fits of laughter.
