The cons balancing a budget.

I bet it's frozen at the arctic circle right now.
Usually it's late september when the freeze starts but this year it started last week.

My expert is northern Canada's most famous cook who just sent me pics a few days ago.

If you ever read the book "barrenlands" about Canada's diamond finds she is Dianne in the book and a great friend and one of the best cook's in Canada.

Another prophet of disaster,
Who says the ship is lost.
Another prophet of disaster,
Leaving you to count the cost.
Taunting us with visions,
Afflicting us with fear.
Predicting doom for billions,
In the hope that doom appears.

- Die With Your Boots On, Iron Maiden (Piece Of Mind, 1984)

Damn straight. Fuck 'em all, and REFUSE to live in fear.

Resistance to panic-mongering stupidity is NOT futile. [B-o]

Or maybe global warming.

Maybe, but is wishful thinking for a desired apocalypse, based on no actual evidence really something you want to invest trillions of dollars on?

Oh, I think there's plenty of evidence of AGW. Maybe not the apocalyptic variety. Myself, I think technological solutions are best, so I'm not a fan of Kyoto. Mind you, if I had a choice between 700 billion going to banks or to climate change, I'd probably pick the latter.

Thta's rich coming form a band who, an album or two before, were telling us

666, The Number of the Beast
Hell and fire are spawned to be released.

Who's predicting doom now? Iron Maiden? Iron hypocrites is more like it.

I still love Maiden after all these years though.
