Can't say I'm terribly surprised. However, watch this be ignored/attacked by those whose commitment to the fallacy of the global warming paradigm is tantamount to religious zeal.

Global warming is all about politics and has nothing to do with science....

Yeah, too bad the error doesn't change the global numbers. The error refers to surface temperature in the US, which does not--contrary to the opinion mf many Amercians--comprise the whole world.

The error was pointed out to NASA by Stephen McIntyre. Stephen McIntyre is a tireless AGW skeptic, but even he said that this data does nothing to sway the evidence that the average temperature of the planet is increasing.

I blasted this argumetn out of the water on a couple of other threads, but I see the technique is just to run away and start another thread. So I'll blast it out of teh water here yet again. And what will the anti-rationalists do? RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY!!!!!

The first error is the term "Global Warming". It should more accurately be "Global Climate Change". This way it does not add fuel to the nay sayers that will not believe there is a problem, until they see the results of the problem. Then it will be too late to do anything to change things around.

Oh and BTW, guess what, WE ARE NOW SEEING THE EFFECTS OF THE PROBLEMS!!! Even If you don't believe it is happening, could it hurt to be a little less damaging to the planet we all live on?

OK, do we really need half a dozen open threads on climate change?

If you're getting tired of getting whooped on more than one thread then just stick to one thread and we'll whoop you there.

Ha ha--that's why you guys keeping opening new threads? Because I'm getting my ass whupped? Usually the ones doing the running away is getting their asses whupped, in my humble opinion.

I'm not up to date on the internet lingo, but isn't it called trolling when you just run around opening up new threads to say the same thing over and over again?

I'm just hoping the mods will combine the threads.
