So I subscribe to Gallup Poll's YouTube channel, and I watched this today, and I thought I would pass it along...

Has Al Gore gone bust? Seems the big hype about Global Warming has simmered off a bit.

And remember these numbers are being compared to numbers from the 80s and 90s.

What I'm trying to guess is what the next big cause will be. We smoothly moved from globalization to human caused global warming. I think the current China protests are just a capitalization of the olypic media. (as someone who never watches the games I can't find myself getting worked up) I'm going to guess food prices and African starvation. Starving africans is always good for an emotional reaction.

Let's see, it's snowing in China today in places that don't typically get snow at all.

In California we're normally in the 80's and 90's this time of year and this morning there was frost on the ground and we have reports of record cold in many areas.

Yeah, global warming is losing steam because it just isn't warming.

The proponents of the belief have to roll out charts and graphs to make their case while the opponents of the belief simply tell people to go outside and see for themselves.

If we are taking bets, I will go with how all the radio waves in the atmosphere are screwing up migratory birds.

Hmmmm, I was under the impression that the chicken little bunch had changed the name of Global Warming to climate change, so they could explain any unforeseen weather event that didn't suit their computer models and personal dogma, while still making their fucking millions.

What scares me though is that they've convinced so many otherwise rational people that they're right that the whole gloom and doom scenario has become a way of life for alot of the lemmings that inhabit positions of power.

Thing about food is that there are shortages due to lack of production. In 3 years there will be major surplus. 2002 was one of the least profialable years in farming lowe then the 1982-2000 when prices are normal, we wil see a small boom simular to 1975-78 then a return. I don't think any country is running out of wheat corn or rice of yet but they are buying and farmers will produce.

Even Dubya knows that something needs to be done about global warming.

Funny that CKA has become a haven for people who disagree. You folks are on the fringes of society. What's in it for you to promote pollouting the earth and using up vital natural resources?

100,000,000 years of the suns energy built up as fossil fuels released in
200 years. That has no effect on the world we live in? Give your heads a shake.
