I watched the second vid. I think I get the points. It's blah, blah, blah, look how clever how I am, blah, blah, blah, I've got more science than you've got, blah, blah, blah, the policy of my 2 favorite organizations is the one true word...

Finally he makes his main point. He wants another organization formed to do something. He doesn't say exactly what. It sounds like maybe he wants a gathering of scientists to study the problem. Don't we have one of those? Isn't it called the IPCC. Isn't it a lame duck thing that starts from a mission statement of human caused, catastrophic warming exists, then stifles any evidence to the contrary. I have to guess he doesn't want another one of those, so what exactly does he want? How does he propose it be put together in a way that isn't all smoke and mirrors like the IPCC is. Who would be in charge of it? Oh wait, I know. The UN, right?

Uh, yeah...we'll get right on that.

The UN in charge of something like that makes about as much sense to a skeptic as Exxon oil managing it would make to an alarmist.

Find a middle ground, though, and who knows, maybe he's got a point. I don't think it's possible though. Too much politics, and too many hidden agendas barring the way. Skeptics have proposed replacements to the IPCC that would work in a more functional manner, but nobody listens to them.

Oh...and I just gotta say it. God that guy irritates me. If I was king of the world smugness would be a criminal offense punishable by pushing an egg down the street with your nose, naked, with your hands cuffed behind your back until you figured out you're not the big, Mr. knows everything, smarty pants you seem to think you are.

These two german scientists----scientists not activists published in April 2007

CO2 properties

It seems a CO2 molecule has only about 50% of the specific heat of an oxygen or nitrogen molecule....
