Go read the actual Wikipedia entries and quit using Blogs with Agendas. There is no "Cabal".

Blogs with agendas? One of the sources quoted in the last post was Wikipedia, genius.

You've just seen a ton of support showing Wikipedia articles on global warming are heavily influenced by agenda driven editors - a cabal, if you will. All I've seen for support countering that argument is you plugging your ears, shutting your eyes and chanting over and over, there is no cabal, there is no cabal. Seriously, is that all you guys have got.

You're cheating yourself by depriving yourself of blogs btw. Stick to the mainstream and what you're going to get are stories like these...

Baby penguins wash up on shore after swimming 2,500 miles to avoid rain

CBS quotes mystic as source for story on how Global Warming is causing earthquakes

Well you'll see them on blogs too, but mostly those are just guys who know more about climate than you and me will ever hope to laughing at them.

I agree. You need to get over to wordpress right now.

Hey, one thing I've always wondered about. Does the left wing have blog trolls? I can't really tell from places like Real Climate, because they just delete any post that doesn't agree with them.

I really think you guys need some blog trolls though. That's one of the main thing's that make climate realist blogs so entertaining. The alarmist trolls. I love those guys. They crack me up.

Hey, if you do get a blog, could I come over and be your troll? I've been studying the masters over at the realist blogs, and I think I can do it. Just something to consider. You have my request. (This could be me. )

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

See, what you need to do is something like what Anthony Watts is doing. There's so many manipulative, or outright foolish stories popping up these days concerning the faux science which supports the global warming scam, he's doing a series called Nutty Story of the Day.

The most recent one is from the UK Guardian...

The World is Running Out of Oxygen

In case you're wondering, the world is not running out of oxygen. He explains.

We try, but the general trend among the right wing blogs is the elimination of any dissenting voice no matter how reasonable. A good example of this is Bart's RedState challenge of last (sorry I can't find the link right now).

Seriously? Bart has succeeded in silencing your dissenting voice? That sucks eh? Not to worry, I hear the odd left-wing voice managing to slip through his diabolical net.

I know where you're coming from though. We get a lot of that censorship crap in the arena of climate realism.

First of all there's the threats...

"British foreign secretary Jack Straw has said that "skeptics should be treated like advocates of Islamic terror and denied access to the media."

Grist magazine has called for Nuremberg-style "war crime" trials for those who deny that human beings are causing a global climate disaster. (Read it yourself here, here, and here.

George Monbiot (author of the best selling book The Age of Consent: A Manifesto for a New World Order) wrote in Guardian magazine that 'Every time someone drowns as a result of floods in Bangladesh, an airline executive should be dragged out of his office and drowned.' "

Source

NASA chief Michael Griffin was silenced by an activist group within NASA's GISS when he suggested global warming might not be a problem.

A campaign of discreditation was begun against Dr. Friis-Christensen when he had the temerity to suggest to the IPCC the sun might warm the earth a little too.

I already showed you how the IPCC indulged in a peculiar form of censorship when they attributed science to Christopher Landsea he did not believe in. They have another way of censoring experts. They were having a lot of trouble finding an actual expert to endorse the idea warming would cause an increase in diseases like malaria. None believed that. Their solution. They found a guy whose principal interest was the effectiveness of motorcycle crash helmets (plus one paper on the health effects of cellphones).

Dr. Bill Gray, pioneer of hurricane forecasting, and almost half a century veteran of Colorado State University was fired when his skeptical view on AGW started becoming too well known by the mainstream media.

Oregon State climatologist, George Taylor, was purged for questioning AGW.

GISS's James Hansen wants Oil exec's jailed for "crimes against humanity". He doesn't think they believe in global warming. Has nobody told him? They say they do believe now. Good boys. David Suzuki, as you know, thinks the jails should make room for politicians who disagree with him.

Weather Channel Mouthpiece Heidi Cullens wanted meteorologists decertified if they speak against human caused global warming.

Al Gore has a good way of stifling any possible debate. First of all he just won't debate anyone anywhere, but more trickily he has had written into his contract that when he speaks the press can not attend.

You can't blame the AGW guys for not wanting to debate though when they do they get their asses kicked. In fact here's a link to one brave soul complaining about how badly they get their asses kicked in debates.

A critic of AGW was was flat out threatened by a government endorsed official as to what would happen to him if he didn't shut up.

So yeah, I get it when you speak of how it sucks when the opposition to your argument tries to censor your freedom of speech.

Uh, you misread my post a bit (plus I should have explained a bit more...)

Last year, our Bart Simpson started a challenge to see how quickly people here could join the site Redstate.com and then get banned. His reason for the challenge was to show just how Borg-like in mentality a lot of right-wing sites are in their dogma and elimination of contrary voices.

So no, Bart did not silence my dissenting voice, because he's better than that.

There's tons of them, but mostly from blogs. The mainstream media won't touch these kinds of stories. Here's one from a blog on the activist Jo Abess manipulating the BBC thing though.

http://www.jennifermarohasy.com/blog/ar ... 02906.html

Here's another story which has been popular on the blogs lately. It concerns how an inner cabal of Wikipedia editors has been modifying articles to conform to their warmism ideology.

Wikipedia Zealots

Blogs claim Obama is a muslim who says "whitey" and hates Christians and wants to kill white people.

Blogs are even more biased than the fucking media.

Not the blogs I visit. Mostly climate blogs. They're kind of equal opportunity bashers of politicians. They were mad at Nancy Pelosi recently for stifling the house energy debate, but they were also mad at John McCain for this one...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQMxIwpK_es

The blogs I go to have stuff like this...

Advancing Hysteria by Editing Skeptical Views of Global Warming

Oh wait, I just remembered. That particular one is a right wing blog, and has stuff of a more political bent as well. Search around there for me will you. Find me the one about Muslim Obama hating whitey and Christians, and wanting to kill white people. I haven't seen it yet.
