It's not that bad is it? I'm only into the 1st ep so I can't rush to judgement yet but it doesn't seem too bad. Perhaps I'm biased because it looks cool with it in 52' HD and my 5.1 surround sound.

Just checked the guide and it looks like the first episode is replaying at midnight eastern, 3am eastern

1st ep(from waht I saw) ain't bad, but the good dramatic stuff looks like it's gonna happen in the next episode...

Eh, it picks up a little but the major plot points will be based around the race vs the elements and China. I do get what your saying it had the feel of an Imax production. Family friendly with stunning visuals but not held together with a riviting underlying conflict.
