So I lost my ski jacket a couple weeks ago, so im in the market for a new one. I seen a lot of people at whistler with Arc'Teryx Ski Jackets which are also very expensive.. so they must be good?

I like that they're a Canadian company and local even, I have heard that they are top quality. Anyone have any experience with them?

I've got a chalkbag from them, but no wintergear... good to know that they're Canadian!

I've never used Arc'Teryx, but it looks like a quality jacket. For a lower price, I would recommend these ** despammed by mod **

Go with Mountain Hardware. Excellent quality, durable, they're gorgeous, their materials are top notch, lightweight, waterproof and they have an amazing selection to suit whatever needs you may have.

Several sports stores out there will carry it.

They used to be 100% made but now you need to check since Adidas bought them and have started to outsource a lot of the production to Asia.

I can't say about the new jackets since they started outsourcing but about 5 or 6 years ago those jackets were worth their weight in gold. Tough as hell and did what they were made to do, keep you dry and warm.

I used to buy all my climbing gear from them and I have yet needed to replace any of it after 7 years
