Seems that Football could be better. Still this is not saying that NHL Hockey sucks or anything like that but there are other sports out there that can be as exciting.
I know, I know, I know, that is not a very Canadian thing to say, still football NFL and CFL seems a bit more exciting for some reason since every single game count, regular and post season.
Unless it is post season hockey, when every game count, then that is fun. But it seems during the regular season, hockey games are not as meaningful. There are the NHL rivalries that are cool. And another thing, the last NHLPA strike in '04 and the fact that the Nordiques and Jets left, pissed off many hockey fans. But then again, please take notice that this is only an opinion.

Lacrosse, Hockey(any hockey), CFL and then NFL in that order.

I hereby request the the mods strip pimp of his avatar, his signature, and his citizenship in that order.  I think that depends alot on how one was raised and the society they grew up in. We are nuts for hockey in this country. In England (well most of the rest of the planet) they are nuts for soccer (football). They detest baseball as we detest cricket (generally speaking). I like the CFL alot but for me hockey is still king.

Nitwit J/K.  Hockey is cool, only saying that post season is more exciting. The NHL has far too many games during the regular season. Often, there are some that simply take a night off during the regular season or whatever the expression. Still, that alone should not be justified considering the outrageous NHL salaries. And that previous strike only shows that some of them simply don't care about the fans, that's all.

The NFL is hyped much more, but the misnamed "Football" sucks.

The NFL bores me to tears...I'd rather watch the fireplace channel then the Superbowl..... Everyone know how much I love the CFL, but I get the same rush from either the CFL or NHL playoffs

Still, for instance, let's say there was a choice in watching an Alouette's game or a Habs game, on TV at the same time, I probably would favour that CFL game. All depends though, were it the Nordiques in the Stanley Cup, then Hockey it would be.
