I heard something on the radio yesterday about some big Canadian boxing match coming up. I don't follow this "sport" and I really do not understand why this sport is allowed to even exist. Yes, you heard right. What is the purpose of boxing? How do you win a boxing match? You can't win unless you pummel your opponent and that is painful and causes injuries. This is the only "sport" I can think of where you are supposed to hurt your opponent. Why does society say it's ok to do this crap? And it really irks me that high schools and colleges promote this sport, saying to kids, yeah, it's ok to physically cause pain and injuries to your opponent. You can't win a match unless you do. This is something I just do not understand.

Pro boxing sucks now. The last fighter I could get excited about watching was Lennox Lewis.

UFC is the new boxing. Most matchups are unpredictable, the way boxing used to be.
