why did Canada even have a team in the world baseball classic? It is obvious that Canadians can't play baseball! Got their butts kicked by the Mexicans.

Canada was 2-1, Mexico was 2-1, USA was 2-1. The only reason the US got to round two was becuause of a tie breaker rule.

Not to mention that Canada beat the US 8-6, and were leading 8-2 into the 8th I believe.

While there aren't many Canadians in the MLB, the ones in it are pretty good, and we did alright considering some of our best pitchers didn't play in the tournament.

So in your opinion we should not even field a team? Ya that's great no chance for these guys to show their talent. No place for us in the majors (or minors). Maybe you think we as canadians have no business even playing the game. All we can play is Hockey? If that is the attitude it may someday become true.

Not a good thread. Take some time on the site and get into some discusions before opening mindless bs thread.

This attitude is why we have little to no support for amateur sport. That is a more valid point for a thread.
