That Barry Melrose bastard is such an anti-Canadian on ABC Sports. He was basically saying that Ottawa doesnt stand a chance against NJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone is predicting an Ottawa series win. People like SI, TSN, Sports net, everybody except for Barry Jerkoff...I mean Melrose.

Im a little worried though, I'm the type of person that would want my team to win by at least 2. 3-2 win in OT is too close for comfort for me.

New Jersey has alot of older players than the Senators do. Stevens, Nedermyer, and Brodeur are well past their prime.

Correction: Canada's FIRST chance. And as far as winning by a close margin, Ottawa's been keeping my ass on the edge of the chair all year. Gotta admit, this time I got a little worried. I won't underestimate N.J., they are a great team, and they WILL figure Ottawa out better than Philly & N.Y. did, but the sens will take it in six, the fix is in!
Saw the Stanley Cup on saturday @ SEARS. This was my second time, the first being in 1974 in Montreal. Gave me the same shivers.
One more thing: In the Ottawa area, we get "the Soprano's" on showcase network on sunday night. Its last-years episodes, re-runs, but anyway there was one scene where an actor had on a "DEVILS" jersey. What the? Co-incidence? Intimidation? Back off "T", the cup is OURS!

Cofession time: During the fist five minutes of sat.'s game, I offered up the opinion that Shaun Van Allen was a bum, not worthy of a SENS jersey. My brother likes Van Allen, and put up a good arguement in his favor. Anybody have a good recipe for "crow"? I'm eating a lot of it these last couple of days! Sorry Shaun! GO SENS!!!
