I do find it odd Trev taht with all the members taht we have on the West Side, there is not a lot of talk about the Canucks. It must be because us Leaf fans are do loud, flamboyant, and...umm..did I meantion loud? ;)

funny how the poll said that people though the Leafs would kick ass, But it is the Canucks who are kicking ass for the Canadian Teams, and kicking ass in the whole league. Its hockery fever here in vancouver.

I'd say that things are slowly turning around for the Leafs as they had beatne both Boston and Philly recently, both teams in the top of their respective divisions.

And talking about Philly, I acn't express enough my disappointment in the NFL scheduling Toronto to play Philly in na fternoon game today. As will Montreal and Boston. Just because most Americans will be taking today off for their post Thanksgiving shopping and visits, doesn't mean the NHL should screw over its loyal Canadian fans by scheduling games in this manner. What's up with that?

You are a hard seel, Kimberly. In Toronto's last two games against the Flyers, they have combined for 9 goals, where Philly hasn't been able to score one. And Philly is at the top of their respective division.

What does Balfour need to do to prove himself to you (outside of taking the Leafs to the playoffs)?

Well, I am not quite sure. There is just something about him.

I loved Roy from the moment he hit the ice, same with Cujo, same with Brodeur. But there is just no magic with Belfour.

I don't know what it is. Maybe it's his hair?

LOL joking.

It's like I feel he should be a back up goalie. Maybe I need to meet him like I did the other three.

Then get your sweet bippy down here and meet Balfouir, so I don't have to constantly defend our goalie. :D

Woohoo! Canucks are tied for 2nd Place in the entire NHL, after there win last night over NJ. Too bad they lost against the Islanders, and broker there 10 game winning streek, I was hoping they might beat the NHL record of 17 games. They beat there own record of 7 though.

Woohoo! Leafs have won 8 out of their last 10 games, and are getting back into contention. Ed Belfour is 9-3-0 in his last 12 games and has stopped 235 of his last 249 shots Toss in the three shutouts he had during that time, and thinsgs are slowly comeing together.

Ironically enough, I heard on the news this morning that with all the trouble most Canadian teams have had lately in brinigng in a profit, the Leafs have a $24 million doillar profit after expenditures.

I don't see why everyone wants to crap on the Leafs. Belfour has had more good games then crappy ones. The Leafs have lost games they could've won when Kidd was in net, however that is the price you pay as a backup goalie.

They face more criticism, only because they are the Leafs. Any team who pulls themselves out of the basement and puts themselves in contention for a playoff sport, deserves some respect. If they were in any other city, they'd be praised for their had work.

Just my two cents.

CANUCKS ALL THE WAY BABY!! WOOOOT

Well the may have lost there last game but there tied for top spot in the NHL for Christmas, actually i think there first because they have played less games. Ottawa is kicking some ass too, I think there is a damn good chance a Canadian team is taking the Cup home this season, its about time! when was the last time? And then the triforce of Hockey will be complete! Canada dominates the olympic hockey, NHL and well the Canadian juniour are sure to win the tournament... i hope!

The poll on http://www.nhl.com sure thinks so!
