Shouldn't his last tests be more relevant? I would think his performance of recent years should be more scrutinized. Seven years ago?????.....want some cheese to go with your w(h)ine.

Yeah, says volumes about him that he's more charitable to them than they are to him.

They've had a hardon for nailing Armstrong for a while now. Proven now that they're testing six year old urine for performance drugs using techniques not available then.

I'd be real interested in seeing the chain-of-custody on that sample. How secure has it been for six years?

They had me keep it in my freezer for a few months back in '02 when the power was out at the French Urine Storage Facility (FUSF).

It was secure for those few months, at least, but I can't speak for the rest of the time.

I like Robin Williams take on it. The French think he's cheating because he's more aerodynamic with only one nut. And in regards to the drugs that he had in his blood stream, it's called chemo therapy you idiots.

I thought they suspected blood doping?

That's what EPO is. It's all about getting more oxygen to the muscles.

A sports guy cheated and did drugs. This has never happened before. It must be a mistake.

Must be a similar drug in the therapy. If you know anyone in the business of Chemo or that has gone through it, they may shed some light on it.

I was referring to what Robin Williams said about the entire pathetic smear campaign.

Also with all the other cyclists that are admitting to and testing positive for performance enhancing drugs, (caffiene is also strictly regulated), do the Tour officials really have that much free time to spend testing 6 year old urine?
Also this is from the Tour de France organization only, not the International Cycling Federation. Yet.
