Who said golfing isn't dangerous? I've golfed this course and from what I remember it would have been hard to do, but this guy did it.

Golfer Dies After Cart Plunges Off Cliff
By Associated Press - May 23, 2007
FALLBROOK, Calif. -- A 65-year-old golfer died Tuesday after his golf cart plunged 75 feet off a cliff and crashed into a road below, authorities said.

The man teed off with three friends on the second hole of the Pala Mesa Resort Golf Course in northern San Diego County at around 10 a.m. and then got into his cart.

The vehicle veered off the concrete pathway, traveled down a 25-foot embankment and went over the edge of a cliff, California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Kerns said.

The recently retired real estate agent from Irvine was ejected shortly before the cart hit the road beneath the cliff and died on impact, Kerns said. His name was not immediately released.

No one else was involved in the crash.

Investigators will inspect the golf cart for mechanical failures, Kerns said.

** we know know why Regina walks and its NOT cause hes cheap **

There was a guy who died on course in Carstairs here in Alberia some years back after he threw his driver at a tree after a particularily bad drive.

It broke in two and a pice of it came back and stabbed him in the heart

That is scary! I know a guy that hit a shot that broke his shaft in two. The bottom piece snapped up and went right through his bicep.......like an arrow. About 15 years ago I hit a buried tree root with my 3 iron. The head snapped off and just missed my nose on the way by. Now I take the a stroke and move it because it's unplayable..........and dangerous.

I couldn't even read it. I hate cliff-hanger endings.
