The National Lacross League has announced that the new Edmonton team shall be known as the Edmonton Rush.

Is anyone else in the Edmonton area as excited about this as I am?

No, I meant they had a WHL team called the Ice but they moved to Cranbrook. Dont know what happend to the Roadrunners but in NLL, nothing lasts long in Canada.

I love lAcrosse.. I used to work for the Akwasasne thuinder in the ILL as an announcer and as a minor official (shot clock) Its the fastest gameon 2 feet.. The natives call it the Pure sport, The Creators Sport.. Im even thisnking of applying for a job with them .....

I love lacrosse as well and am involved in it somewhat as well in the minor level. I miss the Vancouver Ravens.

I played lacrosse for 14 years, right up till the end on junior A, in Richmond BC. We were the Road Runners then the Outlaws over time. I miss the Ravens in BC and I hope Edmonton's team does well, it's a great sport and it's our National Sport. Go out and support your team Edmonton.
