Hi I am new to this site and found it as I was surfing looking to advertise our clubs garage sale and found something better..a whole wack of canadians!!! I am from Langley and I do promotions for the Langley Quarter Midget Assn at 26965 8th Ave in Aldergrove. I hope I am posting on the right forum. We are looking for new members (kids 5-16) for next year. Our season runs March to October I would love to give you more info!! Hope my email and website link worked.

I didn't even know that Langley had a track after the old speedway closed. For old times I signed the petition to make it a historical site.

Yeah it has been there since 1978 actually and that is why I am getting the word out..very few know about it! It is a blast and I am so glad we have it here we are the only one in Canada and I don't want OUR track bieng turned into a "historical Site"
Did they ever get the Langley Speedway declared a historical site??

Langley Speedway is now registered with the Township of Langley as a heritage site. It is not protected by law, but the GVRD respects all such sites in its parks. We have begun the process of restoring the speedway and were given the blessings of the GVRD to use it for car shows and other such events. Thanks for your interest and support!
