B.C and Rugger is simple. There are rugby teams at most schools in this province and the cost is minimal.
When I played years ago we used to go to the states all the time and there were some great close battles.
The only ass kickings came when football players thought they could compete full contact with no pads,no free catch and the scums pretty much ruined their day.

I can remember in 1987 playing in a game between my High school alums against another high schools football alums. 1 weekend we played both rugby and football.
WE beat them in rugby 47-0 and in football (Flag) 49 - 14 that was a lot of fun and we shut up a number of footballers in the process.
The reason why we had to play flag and not tackle was because we manhandled them so badly the game before and sent three of thier boys to emergency.... great fun...

Have to admidt though we had 2 or 3 guys who played key positions in football as well as rugby.. but we white washed them... never had the stomach to challenge us again.
