The Senators did us proud. They have nothing to be ashamed of at all.
We'll have to wait till next year now.

Actually I guess I was a little to harsh on them.

Its not like the Canucks, who were expected to beat the Wild, fell apart after a 3-1 series lead, and blew a 2 goal lead in game 7.

The Sens however played a great tem that they were not much better than, they rallied from a 3-1 series deficit, and game 7 was an extremly close game.

Considering thier paychecks were late and they had major team problems, they did good, cut them some slack...

So are the Leafs. Did everyone hear what the official "excuse" was?

I read in the Toronto sun just after they lost the round with philly, that Corson who is married to Tuckers sister was screwing Mogilny's wife. Apparently it errupted into brawls in the dressing room and thats why Corson quit the team.

Hmmmm a little maple leaf soap opera? That better be the reason they got knocked out.....

I dont believe it. People are always brewing up rumors of adultry when a good player is released or traded to another sports team. The only one I believe is Brodeur boneing his sister-in-law or something.

Can you believe people were saying the reason why Bure left V-town was because Messier was apperantly hitting on him!? 8O :? :|

The Leafs are in horrible shape. Unless Tanenbaum gets rid of Quinn they will have 0 chancee of winning the cup next year. Gainey would have been great in the front office. Quinn has had 5 years to do something and a huge payroll (even in $CAD) and what do we have to show???

0, zero, nada, ziltch, jack squat all.

Quinn = loser
