As we have seen for many years with the best example this last Olympics abolishing the center line and allowing 2 line passes makes for good hockey. Olympic and European hockey has it why not North American NHL?
I know that this year most of the minor hockey leagues have changed to allow 2 line passes, at least with Midget Rep in BC. But would North America have to also increase the size of the ice Rinks?.. i dunno.

I think it would make for a more interesting game. I also think that the area that the goalie can pla the puck in should be limited somehow. Maybe a trapaziod behind the net? The full OT has to go to (except in playoffs). I purpose a 4 on 4 limited OT followed by a shoot out if required. Oh, while we're at it, the goalies need smaller pads to make the game more interesting! Let's scrap hooking too - hooking is just ignorant!

Given that a player can skate approximately 30 mph and a game is 1 hour long the ice size should be 30 miles with no periods , this way each has an equal opportunity to score a ...............................errrr never mind
