Not to sound bad to our friends south of the border, but it always hurts more to lose to the U.S. than anyone.

I would have rather lost to Botswana for shit's sake. :(

At least it will keep the rivalry alive..............

Sure looks good from down here!

We gotta win it once in awhile. I'd have rather won in Salt Lake though. Helluva game, you have to admit.

Honostly, will all dure respects to Americans, the USA is the worst team to lose to. Reason being is that it's not like losing to Russia whereas Russians still look at hockey as a Canadian game, while once America accomplishes something in hockey, they seem to act as if hockey is now THEIR game. Its crap because so many American hockey "fans" act like this. Its total ignorance and they dont have the balls to give credit where it is due.

Funny how one of the greatset days in USA hockey is one of the darkest in Canadian hockey. I pray to God this doesnt let hockey develop in the USA...

I think that was the worse edding to the game, I have been drunk ever since.
That ending was worse then losing to that fat ass Russain goalie that can bearly get the russian flag around his fat gut two years running. Marc is the best goalie in my mind that the Canadian team has had, and it is the worst thing that could happen to him. I pitty him so much... Good Job Canada, and better luck again Next year.

:x

Well...a Canadian scored the game winner...into his own net. Hockey's already developing down here, but nobody I know thinks it is anything but a Canadian-born game. Had to rub my eyes at an OHL game the other night....Guelph has a defenseman, wears #2, whose hometown is Houston, Texas. When Texas starts producing hockey players with the talent to play in the OHL, you know the world is changing. Cherry's been bitching about Europeans for so long...wonder what he'll have to say if Tex makes it to the show?

I still woulda rather won in Salt Lake City....

Wingnut you think it funny having a Texan in the NHL? Probably skate bowlegged. You find thaty amusing having a Texan in the NHL how about Robin Regher of the Flames he is from Brazil. NOw that is about as far from hockey as you want to get.

Bulbs, you cant consider Regher to be from Brazil, sure he was born there but only because he parents were working there. At heart he is a true Canadian boy who was raised on the farm. Besides could you really imagine Robyn on a Marca Bavaria commercial?

Well that would be a weird commercial for sure. Actually I do know Robyn is a canadian. The point I tried tomake which did not come out atll was there are alot of players playing hockey who grew up in a country that has little to do with the game.
And I still feel let down after yeaterdays game. What a friggin disaster.
