The Blue Jays' magic number to clinch the American League East.....

3 1/2 games ahead of New York for first place in the division.....

1 game behind the Kansas City Royals for the top spot in the AL.....

10 games remaining in the regular season!

1 day off...

3 home games against Tampa Bay......

4 away games in Baltimore.....

3 Away games in Tampa Bay......

Looks like there are a whole lot of good numbers happening right now.... :)

I'm not hiding the fact that I jumped on the bandwagon and don't really pay attention, but it seems to me the Jays always have problems with the Rays for some reason?

So far that seems to be the case as the Rays get two in the top of the first. R.A. really shaky out there - he hit a batter and loaded the bases.

Go Jays!!!

After a shaky start Dickey came on to pitch 7 innings and record his 100th career win! The Yankees are down 4-2 to the Chicago White Sox in the 9th and Kansas City is down 5-0 to the Indians in the 7th in Cleveland. It could be a win-win-win night for the Jays. This win brings the years tally between the two teams to 8 wins out of 14 games for the Rays, two more wins for the Jays will tie the series.

Ummmmm, I think the final was 5-3 for the Jays, unless the Rays snuck in a run I didn't see....

your right, 4 was the number of unanswered goals the Oilers got tonight to win in over time. Was watching 3 different sports at once and got confused.

Come on Seattle.

It was also the number of goals the Flames scored in their 4-1 thumping of the Canucks....

Jays win. Yanks lose. All is good. Great game by the Jays. R.A. just got better as the innings went on - glad to see him get his 100th. Rock on Jays

You can add to that Detroit beat Minnesota 6-4 but, the LA Angels are leading the Seattle Mariners 6-3 in the top of the 7th.
