Quite simply, because story submissions must be approved by a moderator *before* they are posted.

Some Anons obviously still want to contribute. Nothing is stopping them from signing up, should they want to comment, but due to the lack of volume of new stories; it comes down to availability when new story submissions are posted.<br /> <br /> If more registered users were submitting stories, there would be less Anon contributed stories.<br />

I submitted a lecture titles "War on Terror" by Noam Chomsky and haven't seen it. In the past I have also submitted articles that do not show up. If they do not show up should I assume I haven't pressed submit after I preview or that there are some articles that you do not post? At least it I know that I have not submitted correctly I can always resubmit.
