So we finally got out fishing for the first time this year. I was all geared up to take lots of pics, took maybe 12 and the batteries went dead, gezzz  so if you notice a lack of snow in some. They were taken last year at the same lake.

I like to go out early and ambush those little trout before they can rub the sleep out of their eyes.

Regina may have met this guy at a T-Wolves game. One of the hockey dads.

The beaver really prune this bush out.

The GW people would have gone crazy with the woman in the yellow hummer. About once an hour she'd jump in it and drive up to the camp grounds to use the outhouse.

Oh my gosh, those are awesome!!!! :D

LOVE that second shot!

Looks like you guys had a blast out there. A few too many peeps in one spot for me though. I'd have been a couple miles further down and on the other side.

Glad you had a good time though. Thanks for the pics!

I had a second set all charged up, but left them on the kitchen table. Being first trip out there's to much to remember to bring. Once the trucks loaded once then every things there for the winter.

I had ice-fishing on my mind BEFORE I saw your pics, thanks a lot.

"AUGER AUGER AUGER AUGER AUGER AUGER AUGER AUGER" -- that's our ice fishing chant; feel free to use it.

I'm itching to get back to fishing, but I SO hate being cold!

Might have to suck it up and give it a go anyway.

Just have to buy an Ice Cube fishing tent. It's kind of got spring loaded tent poles inside, on the outside there's straps to pull it open. Should be able to pop it open in 30 to 45 seconds with practice. And a propane bottle and heater like the dog is guarding and your in a t-shirt inside while your fishing. -20 and you can keep a lite coat on.

On a warm day like yesterday it's not bad inside without a heater cause the black material sucks up the heat.

 Yep, I'm familiar with them (We sell several of those "pop up" ice fishing tents where I work). I actually just (not so subtly) hinted to Q that we should maybe, kinda, sorta, think about looking at one (hard).

A Blackcat heater, and away we go! :D
