QBC inspired me to post some recent pics.

The tug is the ELDOMA, launched in 1924. Don't know how long it's been beached, but I'd say it's quite a while.

Thanks. I wish they'd turned out better, but my new Nikkon was developing a focusing issue. :x

I got a picture of it's name and plugged into Google. Found an entry that identified it.

Awesome the lines of the Naramo... I like the best, it would make a great liveaboard. XD

Naramatta is the last of the lake steam tugs. A simply beautiful boat!

Speaking of which, I sailed on this one summer for a SAR patrol in the Straits of Georgia. YTL Wildwood - though we called her Firewood. She was sold off and someone bought and had it rebuilt as a livaboard.
