Beautiful!

I saw a couple Great Blue Herons this summer, many times. But it was out at the race track, and I couldn't get pics.

I really wanted to though. Watching them fly is amazing! Their wing span is wider than my car is long. 8O

I thought that was a heron when I first saw it, but now I'm pretty sure it's a cormorant.

Definitely. I saw immediately the legs are too short for a Heron.

Don't know what kind of Cormorant though.

Double-crested Cormorant... pretty sure. They come around here to breed.
