Kermode bears. That's what the people who live where those bears are call them.

Awesome!

Thanks for sharing that QBC!

I love where after he grooms himself he seems to start to crawl out then yawns and puts his head down on his paw like he's dedided "screw it, I'll hit the snooze button one more time" then he's seen curled up again seemingly sleeping.

You're welcome!... :D

Quote:
The Tsimshian people believe in the legend of Moksgm'ol - the spirit of the rainforest. It is said that Creator, the Raven, decided to create a reminder of when the world was once covered with ice and snow. To do this, he was said to fly among the black and brown bear people and turn every tenth one white. He decreed that these bears would live in peace and harmony forever.

He's not late Bren...the bears in your area won't be up and about a few more weeks. I know they won't be here for quite awhile yet. They usually don't come out of den until there is something to eat around. The new green grass and chutes on the south facing slopes are their usual first hit. Until they come up, they might as well conserve energy and sleep a tab bit longer. As Strutz said, hit the snooze button...
